GEORGIA RADIO - The Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center was home to the International Singer-Songwriter Awards 2023 Awards Ceremony on August 5th. According to a recent news release on the ISSA website, "The atmosphere during the show was electric, with participants from all walks of life showcasing their skills, talents, and passion. Each competitor brought their A-game, leaving spectators in awe and admiration. We witnessed moments of sheer brilliance, creativity, and a display of sheer determination that captivated everyone present."
Georgia Radio listener favorite, Mark Ware played the pre-show party, and later that evening took home gold for USA Male Music Video of the Year. His video "Going To Take A Miracle" took home the top honor, and added another feather to his hat. Georgia native Hunter Flanagan also took home a bronze award for USA Male Vocalist of the Year.
"The International Singer Songwriters Association was founded by Tamanie Dove, a singer songwriter born and raised in Nashville, now residing in Atlanta who is dedicated to supporting and serving independent artists, and encouraging aspiring and professional singers and songwriters in all genres of music worldwide" according to their website.
